What types of Fitness training sessions do you offer?
At Deb Ellaway Fitness, I offer a variety of training sessions to cater to your needs. Services include:
Personal Training Sessions: One-on-one sessions provide individual attention and personalised workout programs designed specifically for you.
Small Group Training: Join a small group of like-minded women in dynamic and motivating training sessions that focus on achieving common fitness goals.
Online Beginners Program: My online training program is perfect for those who prefer the convenience of training from home. It is designed to help beginners kickstart their fitness journey with expert guidance and support.
You can book your fitness training class or personal training session through our website. Otherwise get in touch and we can book you in to your preferred fitness training class or PT session.
What can I expect at my first Fitness Training Session?
You'll get a friendly welcome by the ladies and your fitness trainer before we kick things off with a warm up exercise. We’ll explain how the fitness workout will run, demonstrate the exercises you’ll be doing, personally guide you throughout the class, and assist you with your technique so you feel confident.
I have just had a baby.
When can I start?
You may be able to return to exercise 6 - 8 weeks after birth. Please get in touch with us and we can run through our fitness exercise pre-screening. A clearance letter from your doctor or midwife may be required.
We strongly recommend that you have a physio assessment before starting any fitness exercise programme.
Are your Fitness Training Classes right for me?
Our safe beginner friendly classes are designed for women who want to train in a safe and encouraging environment.
We will work our way through core strengthening, muscle toning exercises that are perfect for for the female body.
You are encouraged to work at your own pace and abilities. We can easily modify any fitness exercise that doesn't feel right. This is YOUR exercise workout and YOUR body!
Our classes are for you if:

√ You are a beginner and you want to exercise in a safe encouraging environment
√ You want to safely tone up and lose weight
√ You want to exercise in the fresh air with other awesome Mums

What if I have an injury?
Depending on the injury or issue this is usually fine. We can alter most exercises to accommodate things like bad backs, knees, ankles, weak pelvic floor, abdominal separation etc. Just make sure to let us know in advance so we can plan for you. And make sure it's ok with your health care professional first!
Where are your Fitness classes?
Our fitness classes are held at my home gym in Benowa.
Our Group Fitness classes are perfect if you're a mum or mum-to-be, beginner or in the mid life stage who lives in Gold Coast Suburbs, around Benowa, Benowa Waters, Ashmore, Southport, Sorrento, Chevron Island, Broadbeach, Mermaid Waters, Mermaid Beach, Carrara, Labrador.
What type of training exercises will we be doing?
We will work our way through core strengthening, muscle toning exercises that are perfect for the postnatal body.
Can I do a Casual Fitness Class?
Yes. If there is a spare space. Casual fitness training classes are $20.
What do I need to bring?
You will need an exercise mat or large towel, a water bottle and a sweat
towel. If it’s your first time please arrive 10 minutes before the class start time so we can meet each other and have a quick chat.
